☕ CoffeeLab Equipment Tools 2026
Specialist tools built on our review database — because the grinder matters more than the machine. Three interactive tools, live Amazon prices, shareable results.
Type a brand, a model number, a bag of coffee or a drink. What it is, who it suits — and, honestly, whether we have evaluated it, verified its specification, or can only identify it.
LiveAnswer 7 quick questions — including your counter width and depth — and get 2–3 espresso machines matched to you, with live prices.
LiveMatch your espresso machine with the right grinder — dedicated pairings where we have them, honest capability matches everywhere else, with live prices.
LiveAlready own gear? Tell us your machine, grinder and upgrade budget — get an honest verdict on whether to upgrade the grinder first, the machine first, or both.
LiveTen coffee origins: what each is known for, the growing regions to look for on the bag, and the coffees whose own labels say where they came from.
LiveThree flavour profiles read from what a bag’s own label documents — the roast, where it grew, how it was processed. Pick one and see the coffees that fit, the rule we applied, and what each label never said.
LiveFive quick questions about what you drink and how you brew. Every match shows why it fits, from what the coffee’s own label documents — and what the label doesn’t say.
LiveManufacturer specifications for espresso machines and grinders, and the label facts behind every coffee we hold — sortable, filterable and free to download. Specifications only; no scores.
LiveBitter, sour, weak, harsh or muddy: say how you brewed it and what changed, and get the one adjustment to make on the next cup — with the reason.
LiveThe independent specialty coffee shops we have evaluated, city by city — each city’s winner, what it was recognised for, and its honorable mentions. Pick your city, or tell us where you are and we will point you at the closest we have covered.
LiveFollow any coffee to where it grew, who roasts it, how its label says to brew it and the gear we’ve reviewed for that — and see what the label never said.
The three tools sit at different points in the same decision. Start with the Machine Finder if you do not yet know what kind of machine you want: it asks what you drink, how much control you want over the shot, and what you will spend, and narrows the catalog from there. Use the Grinder Pairing Tool once a machine is decided — it matches grinders to that machine by the grind range espresso actually needs, which is the step most buyers skip and later regret. The Upgrade Path Advisor is for people who already own something: it takes your current setup and identifies which single component is holding the cup back, so you replace the part that matters instead of the whole thing.
All three read from the same review database as the rest of the site, so a tool never recommends a product we have not documented. Recommendations reflect the published catalog and award standings; the tools do not score products themselves. Prices shown are live and change often, so treat a result as a shortlist to check rather than a final answer.
